Sunday School at 10 a.m.
NEW! Children may begin their Sunday school down front in the church at 10 a.m. beginning September 4, 2011. After an opening welcome and songs, to which parents are invited, children will move to classes in the Parish House. Teachers will escort them from the sanctuary, but you may accompany your child, especially for the first time. Your children will return to you(around 11 a.m.) just before the celebration of Communion in the 10:15 a.m. service. (For Top 10 Reasons to be there with your kids, see the Sunday School page.)
A FEW TOP REASONS
1. It's different! And we're doing it to address the needs of Trinity families
2. It offers age-targeted teaching. Where else can your children get biblical instruction that's focused toward their developmental abilities. A new nursery, preschool and K-3 classes are offered. Kids in grades 4-5 or older will serve as "child ministers" to help teach the younger kids
3. Friends! In Sunday school your child will build positive friendships with their peers.
4. Mentors! Dedicated teachers will be Christian role models who support you.
5. New curriculum provides a broad foundation. Materials include ways to bring the lessons home.
6. It's easy! If you attend the 10:15 service already, just come 15 minutes earlier!
