Deacons

August 4 & 5 was the Consecration of Deacons at worship on Saturday evening and Sunday morning. This is a new ministry of prayer and caring and is a response to the insight provided by the twelve “Connections Gatherings” this past Lenten season. Each of the twenty Deacons will be “connected” with at least three family units of the church, keeping them in daily prayer and maintaining contact on a regular basis. It is the hope, prayer, and goal that at some time every family unit of the church who so desires will be involved in this ministry in some way.Read more
