"A Loving, Christ-Centered Community

Actively Reaching Out to All People"

We've been waiting for you! It is not by accident that you are here. God has brought you to us. Above all else we want to express Christ's love to you with genuine, heartfelt warmth. We're eager to get to know you.

You’ll find that Historic Trinity is a family, rich in the relationships that matter most. Growing spiritually together, we worship, we do service projects, we learn and we reach out to the world with life-transforming truth. Our doors are open, our hearts are open to you, no matter who you are.

If you've been thinking, praying, searching and hoping for a place to belong, then Trinity may be the place for you. If you come to us as a visitor, we hope that you'll leave as a friend who's been blessed by worshiping with us.

If you live in or close to the Washington Ave. loft district, this Sunday you might want to head for our downtown community at VintageTen, 1004 Locust (below the wine bar). Worship starts at 10:30 a.m. every Sunday.

UNDIES SUNDAYS from Mother's Day to Father's Day, 2012, means our friendly competition to collect new underwear and crew socks for homeless men at Trinity. Bring your underclothes to put in the plastic tubs at the rear of the sanctuary--on your favorite side!

Trinity’s annual picnic will be Sunday, May 20, beginning at noon, in the Old Carriage Pavillion in Tower Grove Park--right after the late service at Trinity. All welcome!

New Member/Adult Inquirer Class beginning Wednesday, May 23, is a six-session course for those who want to know more about Lutheran Christianity and this congregation's ministry. There is no obligation to join but this is our invitation. Meet in the Parish House, 7-8:30 p.m., May 23, 30, June 6,13, 20 and 27. Those becoming members will be received on Sunday morning, July 1. Call with questions or to reserve a space: (314) 231-4092.

Youth Confirmation Weekend winding up with Rite of Confirmation on May 27, 2012, in the 10:15 service.

FREE Car Wash June 2, Saturday, 8 a.m. to Noon in Trinity Parking Lot to help our youth raise $3800 to travel to Somerville, TN, this summer to help low-income and elderly with home repair projects!

We encourage you to join us for the next few weeks as we consider the Church's role in and for the CITY. (Read on!)
